Workday Sponsored By Advisory Committee
Saturday October 3rd 2026 a very busy day at Bethel Presbyterian Church. The first scheduled workday hosted by the l Bethel Advisory committee. A group of 15 volunteers showed up to start working on the building. It was a great team of workers dedicated to their assigned areas around the building. There was painting to be completed in the ladies room and the gym. There were windows that needed old paint scrapped off them to prepare for the upcoming new paint job. There was work to be done on the main church sign. There was clothing to be sorted, packed, and clothing to be distributed to the community toady along with diapers and Wawa sandwiches. Repairing God’s house is a spiritual and communal endeavor. It involves establishing a common understanding among believers to work toward naturing a community where God’s spirit can dwell and we can look to God to direct us to present activities that will uplift the community and bring them closer to God.
Thank you to all who worked tirelessly today. Thanks to our Old Pine team, our Doylestown friends, our Bethel Team members, and our friend from Temple. There will be more oppurtunities to join us for these special work days. If you are intersted in joining us please send your contact information to Bethelpresbyterian30@gmail.com or use the contact us page on our website.
