π A Day of Serving and Saving: Recapping Our August 8th Backpack Drive β¨
Saturday, August 8, 2026, was a truly remarkable day for the Bethel Mission Team as we stepped out to connect with and serve our incredible community! β€οΈ What started as our Book Bag Giveaway blossomed into a beautiful afternoon of giving, fellowship, and unexpected grace. ποΈ
What We Accomplished Together:
π Book Bag Giveaway: A massive shoutout and thank you to our Doylestown Partners! π€ With their amazing help, we successfully put together 80 book bags to ensure our local students are prepped and ready for a fantastic school year. πβοΈ
π² Community Meal: We were incredibly blessed to serve 62 hot meals to our neighbors. π½οΈ
π Giveaway Tables: Alongside the food and backpacks, we offered tables fully stocked with clothing, shoes, hats, and diapers for anyone in need. ππΆ
π Compassion on the Church Steps As we were engaging with the community and sharing meals, we noticed a man on the church steps who was very sick and in need of immediate medical attention. π One of our dedicated team members, Brother Kariam, sprang into action. He quickly called 911 and stayed right by the man's side, offering encouragement and comfort until the paramedics arrived. πβ€οΈ It was a beautiful display of quick thinking and deep compassion. Thank you for your excellent response, Brother Karium! π
β¨ Matthew 25:35 in Action We are thanking God today for all the incredible volunteers who showed up to help. π We were all touched by the hand of God in our own lives and in the lives of those we have the privilege to serve.
It was another amazing Matthew 25:35 event in the books. Thank you to everyone who made it possible! βͺπ«
